The Deployment Manager automates the deployment procedure the different modifications that are needed for the components’ execution on complex, heterogeneous environments. The different adjustments and code refinements are executed as a final stage of the application’s development following the analysis and results of the Parallelization Toolset and the decisions of the Multi-Objective Mapper. Additionally, a set of scripts corresponding to the aforementioned procedure, is generated and automatically executed, implementing the actual deployment of the components on the available hardware.
The Parallelisation Toolset is responsible for both the code analysis and the suitable techniques selection for the preparation of the components for deployment. In particular, the tool is used to produce parallelised versions of the components, as well as adopt specific parallelisation techniques based on the deployment plan provided by the Multi-Objective Mapper. In the context of the Parallelisation Toolset, the IP Core generator for FPGAs has also been developed, but its implementation resides in a separate Repository.
